Kings defenseman Jack Johnson, out since the second game with a shoulder injury, said he will begin skating Monday, the next step in his return from surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
Johnson, who has missed 11 games, will skate on his own for the time being and said he did not expect to be back in the lineup before January. Johnson, 21, is one of the key players in the Kings’ rebuilding effort.
