There are still some Rose Bowl tickets available through online ticket resale websites.

As of 3:30 p.m., RazorGator, the official online ticket resale agency for the Rose Bowl, had six tickets on sale for prices ranging between $335 and $532. StubHub had 55 tickets for sale with prices ranging from $179 to $818.

Despite the soured economy, resale prices ‘have held up pretty good,’ said RazorGator Vice President Scott Roback. ‘This is, of course, a bit of a softer year given the economic conditions in the country, but it hasn’t been as soft as we had thought it might be.’

Corporate spending, which typically is muted during harsh economic times, also has tailed off somewhat, Roback said: ‘With the economy struggling, that has been a retraction of corporate dollars in respect to prior years.’

StubHub data shows that fans in 38 states have purchased tickets on its website. California, home to USC, accounts for 56% of those resales, with Pennsylvania, home to the Penn State Nittany Lions, in second place with 12%.

StubHub data also shows that the average Rose Bowl ticket resold on the company’s website cost $275. That’s well below the $704 average for resold admissions to the BCS Championship Game on Jan. 8 between Florida and Oklahoma. But the Rose Bowl resale price also is higher than the average resale price for tickets to the Sugar Bowl ($209), Fiesta Bowl ($204) and Cotton Bowl ($122).
