With so much scoring between the Red Wings and Blackhawks in today’s Winter Classic at Wrigley Field, let’s take a moment to consider a little Chicago history.

The top video is from the night in March 2008 when Chicago honored two great Blackhawks, Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita -- both of whom were among those honored today before the puck was dropped at Wrigley. The lower video is of a goal by Hull from 1963’s All-Star game, a time when there were no helmets or face shields. Enjoy, even if you aren’t a Blackhawks fan.
