Video: USC captures Pac-10 tournament championship

The Conference of Champions has a familiar one this year.

USC is the first school to claim both the Pac-10 men’s basketball tournament championship and the Pac-10 football championship in the same school year.

In 2001, Oregon came out on top of the regular season standings in both sports. Stanford did the same in 1999.

The Trojans can complete a title trifecta in the conference’s most popular sports. They play Stanford in the finals of the women’s basketball tournament on Sunday in the Galen Center. It may be homecourt for the Women of Troy, but the Cardinal are a heavy favorite.

USC also won the NCAA championship in men’s water polo this year.
