How bad was USC’s 47-20 loss to Oregon?
Making-history kind of bad.
Consider these numbers:
47 points allowed -- most since UCLA scored 48 in double overtime in 1996.
27-point defeat -- the worst since a 27-0 loss to Washington in 1997.
613 yards allowed -- the second most allowed in program history, behind only the 623 given up against Notre Dame in 1946.
391 yards rushing against -- the most since Texas A&M gained 486 in the 1977 Bluebonnet Bowl.
Two 100-yard rushers (Jeremiah Masoli and LaMichael James) against -- the first time since Josh Scobee and Ell Roberson reached triple digits for Kansas State in 2001.
