Jim Thome‘s brief stint with the Dodgers is over.
The veteran slugged signed with the Minnesota Twins on Thursday in a deal that will become official once Thome passes a physical. The one-year deal is reportedly worth $1.5 million.
Thome, who played in 17 games with the Dodgers last season, will pinch hit for the Twins next season. Manager Ron Gardenhire told the Associated Press that Thome could also see time at designated hitter and at first base.
