USC football: Lane Kiffin working on staff as Pete Carroll completes new one

With national signing day over, USC Coach Lane Kiffin has said that he would turn his attention to interviewing potential staff members.
Kiffin has already hired his father, Monte Kiffin, as defensive coordinator, as well as defensive line coach Ed Orgeron, linebackers coach Joe Barry,offensive line coach James Cregg and defensive backs coach Willie Mack Garza.
Meantime, former USC coach Pete Carroll completed his staff with the Seattle Seahawks, and it is heavy with former Trojans, including Jeremy Bates (offensive coordinator), Ken Norton (linebackers), Brian Schneider (special teams), Kris Richard (defensive backs assistant), Rocky Seto (quality control assistant), Chris Carlisle (strength and conditioning), Jamie Yanchar (assistant strength and conditioning) and Dave Canales (quality control assistant). Matt Capurro, USC’s former director of football operations, also is now with the Seahawks.
The Associated Press reported that the team confirmed that defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and defensive line coach Dan Quinn would remain with the staff. Other staff members are Alex Gibbs (offensive line), Jedd Fisch (quarterbacks), Sherman Smith (running backs), Kippy Brown (receivers), Pat McPherson (tight ends), Jerry Gray (defensive backs), Jeff Ulbrich (assistant special teams), Art Valero (assistant offensive line), Luke Butkus (quality control assistant) and Mondray Gee (assistant strength and conditioning).
