The top 10 drivers starting NASCAR’s Auto Club 500

There are three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers starting in the top 10 today in the Auto Club 500 who have won at least one race at Auto Club Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson has won four Cup races in Fontana, including the most recent, the October 2009 Chase race. He starts seventh today.

Kasey Kahne won the Cup race in Fontana in 2006. He was racing Dodges back then. He is in a Ford for today’s race and he starts fourth.

Mark Martin won the Cup race in Fontana in 1998. He retired and returned in the time since his last win at what was called California Speedway in 1998. He starts 10th.
