Home runs by Cody Regis, Brett Krill power UCLA past USC

Freshman Cody Regis hit a three-run homer and junior Brett Krill had a two-run homer to highlight UCLA’s 15-2 victory over USC in a Pacific 10 Conference baseball game Saturday at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
It was the second consecutive win for the Bruins (36-11, 12-8) in a scheduled three-game series against USC (23-27, 5-14).
Trevor Bauer (8-3) pitched seven innings, allowing two runs, to pick up the victory. He struck out 11. UCLA finished with 20 hits, led by Krill and Tyler Rahmatulla, who each had three hits.
The final game of the series is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
