Tiger Woods story to be retold (maybe) on ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’

Following in the footsteps of ‘South Park’ and ‘Saturday Night Live,’ this week’s episode of ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ is all about Tiger Woods and the scandal surrounding his extramarital affairs.
Well, technically, it isn’t -- it’s about some made-up golfer and his own extramarital affairs. But check out the trailer and see if the plot line (the part not involving murder, that is) sounds kind of familiar:
Now, we shouldn’t jump to conclusions that this is based on Woods and now-ex-wife Elin Nordegren. After all, a series spokeswoman has called the episode pure fiction.
But then again, we also just heard the cheesy announcer telling us, ‘Oh yeah, we’re going there,’ as if he’s nudging us and winking at the same time.
Either way, aren’t we all pretty sick of this story line by now? If you’re not, you can catch the episode at 10 p.m. Wednesday on NBC.
