Watts: Kevin Shallowhorn, 25

Kevin Shallowhorn, a 25-year-old black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, Dec. 22, in the 1600 block of East 110th Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s officials.

Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, said Shallowhorn was standing in a driveway talking on his cellphone when a gunman drove up, got out of his car and shot him twice with a shotgun.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:05 p.m., Winter said.
