Cross-country: Coe returns for Fountain Valley

Elizabeth Coe, who won the Division I state cross-country title last season, made her return to the Fountain Valley lineup with a successful showing at the Las Vegas Invitational, where she finished ninth overall. Coe had been sidelined with a foot injury over the summer. The Barons had five girls in the top 10, and were among the most impressive of Orange County’s harriers over the weekend.
