When I think of a rivarly, I envision two geographically-close teams going head to head every year, with neither having a long-term advantage.

The Milk Can Game seems to have lost that edge.

Chino defeated Chino Don Lugo, 27-0, in the team’s 26th annual meeting last weekend. It was Chino’s 16th straight win over the Conquistadors and third straight by shutout. Still, a standing-room-only crowd estimated at 4,400 put down their remote controls for the night and came out to represent their side of the city.

By the way, now that the cows have left town, maybe they can change the name of this game to something more relevant? How about the Rusty Shank Showcase?
