Culver City re-asserted itself in the third quarter to take a 23-13 lead after a scoring reception by senior running back Lowell Rose on the first drive after the break and then on a 90-yard fumble return by Quinton Darden with 8:30 to go after Crenshaw tried to convert a first down on a fourth-and-one at the Culver City nine-yard line.
