Getting through the rough patch

A difficult early season in the rear-view mirror, junior running back Darius Bratcher and Mayfair are both in fine midseason form.

Bratcher, apparently recovered from a spinal contusion that forced him to miss four games, enjoyed his best game of the season Friday in a 17-12 victory over Artesia (3-4, 2-1). It was the third victory in a row for the Monsoons (4-3, 3-0) after they had dropped three of four games heading into Suburban League play.
