Dorsey safety Rahim Moore has been added to West roster for the annual Army All-American Bowl game, to be played Jan. 5, 2008 in the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Moore is the third Dorsey player to be chosen in the eight years of the game, following Stafon Johnson and David Gettis.

‘They told me I was nominated before the season, but then I forgot about it,’ Moore said Monday. ‘I think they choose players for their poise and determination for the game. It’s also the hard work and dedication you put into the game.’

Other Southland selections include Dayne Christ, Wes Horton and Anthony McDonald of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame; Matt Kalil and D.J. Shomate of Servite; Tyron Smith of Rancho Verde, and Darrell Scott of St. Bonaventure. A total of 84 players nationwide will be selected to participate.
