Pac-5 semifinal doubleheader set for Home Depot Center

Friday, Nov. 30 is going to be a day to remember, considering the quality of teams expected to reach the Southern Section Pac-5 Division semifinals.

The games will be held as a doubleheader at the Home Depot Center in Carson, with kickoffs at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. A $12 admission charge will get folks in for both games.

The matchups should be outstanding. In the bottom bracket, it could be a Trinity League rematch between Servite and Mater Dei. Or it could be Crespi against Servite, matching Servite Coach Troy Thomas against his former team.

In the upper bracket, it’s clear that Long Beach Poly is headed to the semifinals against the winner of the Orange Lutheran-Edison quarterfinal.
