Palos Verdes girls’ soccer is still unbeaten. But no longer perfect.

After opening the season with 12 consecutive victories, the Sea Kings suffered one microscopic blemish -- a tie to Redondo on Wednesday. Amanda Young scored a goal with two minutes left to force the 1-1 tie and keep Palos Verdes out of the loss column. One reason for the non-victory, perhaps: rustiness. The Sea Kings had played only one match since Dec. 15.
