Not much excitement being scared up (so far) at Nike Extravaganza

Another ho-hum game here at the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei. Hopefully, things will start getting exciting pretty soon.

Orange Lutheran just finished rolling Brea Olinda, 78-59. Tyler Funk scored 20 points to lead the Lancers and 6-8 freshman Ronnie Stevens looked impressive, scoring 11 points and limiting 6-11 freshman center Kyle Caudill to eight points and five rebounds.

Dominguez and Santa Margarita tipped off at 4:53 for a scheduled 4:30 start. Time to start taking bets what time the scheduled 9 p.m. game between Mater Dei and Chicago Farragut will really start.

I say 10:30.
