Girls’ basketball: Thomas seals the deal for Narbonne

Reiko Thomas was determined not to let her Narbonne teammates down, so determined, in fact, she took things into her own hands down the stretch of Saturday’s City Section championship game at the Sports Arena. And there was nothing Chatsworth could do about it.

The senior buried a pair of clutch three-pointers with two-plus minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and finished with 26 points in a 68-57 victory over the top-seeded Chancellors in the Championship Division final. Thomas would not be denied on this night.
