Saugus boys’ basketball coach Jeff Hallman has resigned after a 14-year career with the Centurions. He told The Signal he’s planning to take a break away from coaching, but he hasn’t ruled out a return to the coaching ranks sometime in the future.

Hallman, 49, posted 203 career victories as Saugus’ head coach. This season, Saugus finished second in the Foothill League before reaching the second round of the Southern Section Division II-AA playoffs.
