Newbury Park DE Powell gets offer from Washington

One of the best pass-rushers in the region, Newbury Park DE Jackson Powell, told Scout.com he has received an offer from Washington. Last season, the 6-foot-6, 225-pounder recorded 67 tackles and 9.5 sacks for the Northern Division semifinalist Panthers.

Powell has also received interest from USC and Arizona. He said Washington has also been talking to teammate Chris Brown, who’s older brother played for the Huskies.
