Listed at 6-foot-4 and 200-plus pounds, Allan Bridgford possesses the size of a bona fide college football quarterback prospect. After completing more than 60% of his passes for 2,500-plus yards a season ago, it appears as if the Mission Viejo junior has the arm strength potential scouts tend to look for, as well.
With the tools seemingly in place, it shouldn’t come as a big surprise to learn the recruiting interest is beginning to heat up for Bridgford.
He picked up his first scholarship offer recently, from Stanford, and several other programs have established some sort of contact, with Colorado, Notre Dame and UCLA leading the way. However, Bridgford is no rush to make a decision. In the meantime, expect to schools to keep a close eye on him.
