Girls’ basketball: Mustangs crying foul in first half

Well, it appears as if Marlborough is in a bit of trouble in the Southern California Regional Division IV final at Mater Dei High.

Its top two players, Nikki Speed and Talia Caldwell, both have three fouls, and La Jolla Country Day has taken advantage of their absence to take a 29-21 lead at halftime.
