Carson finally decided to get the ball to the No. 1 tight end in the nation, USC-bound Morrell Presley, and what an impact he made. He caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Torres, and Carson trails Mater Dei, 12-7, with 7:30 left in the second quarter.
It was only the second pass of the game for Carson, but the Colts have started to run the ball effectively on the Monarchs.
