Cross Country: Loyola wins state Division II title

Loyola, led by sophomore Elias Gedyon, won the state Division II boys’ cross country championship Saturday in Fresno. Gedyon set a sophomore course record with a time of 15:01.
Dana Hills won the Division I boys’ title, with Tyler Valdes winning in 15:01.
In Division I girls, Dana Hills won the title behind Alex Dunne, who won in 17:27. Saugus won the Division II girls’ title, with Kaylin Mahoney winning in 17:34.
