Another signing day has come and gone and USC and UCLA fared well in the annual grab-and-bag sweepstakes.

The Bruins landed some of the nation’s top recruits despite a dismal season under new Coach Rick Neuheisel, and the prospect of limited early playing time didn’t cause too many big names to shy away from USC (although I’m sure Pete Carroll is going to regret the blue-and-gold conversion of Randall Carroll and Morrell Presley).

But, of all the players who signed with UCLA and USC on Wednesday, which Southern California player do you think has the best chance of becoming a collegiate standout? Who’s the guy who will lead USC or UCLA to a Pac-10 title or maybe even a BCS national championship? Who will most likely dominate in college before becoming a first-round NFL draft pick?

Here are a handful of Southland players from UCLA’s and USC’s 2009 recruiting classes. Feel free to use the comment board if you think somebody else has a better chance of rising to the top. Also, be sure to check out our signing day coverage if you’re out of the loop.
