Baseball: Cleveland wins two in Las Vegas

Reseda Cleveland (12-2) continued its excellent early-season play by winning two games Monday in the Durango tournament in Las Vegas.
In the first game, Nick Kaid threw a four-hitter and Niko Garcia went three for three with a home run and four runs batted in to help the Cavaliers defeat Tucson (Ariz.) Flowing Wells, 9-1. Jeremy Stearn also hit a home run.
In the second game, Robert Almendarez singled in Taylor Costin with the winning run in the seventh inning for an 8-7 victory over North Hollywood Campbell Hall. Costin had three hits and Garcia had two hits.
