Baseball: Sophomore shortstop makes impression on Simi Valley

Bellflower St. John Bosco sophomore shortstop Dante Flores hit a home run as the Braves (11-6) defeated Simi Valley, 10-2, in the championship game of the St. Paul tournament.

As for Flores, Simi Valley Coach Matt La Belle said, ‘He’s as good as I’ve seen.’

Simi Valley dropped to 13-5.
