Football: Edison gets it done with 27-10 victory

Its offense won’t be awarded any style points, but Edison emerged with a 27-10 victory over Los Alamitos tonight at Huntington Beach High after the Chargers scored two touchdowns on defense and one on special teams.
Edison’s offense? Blech. The Chargers did not score a touchdown on offense and gained 119 yards.
‘The offense just never got in a groove because we never had the ball much,’ Edison Coach Dave White said.
No. 3 Edison (8-0, 3-0 Sunset League) will play No. 15 Fountain Valley (8-0, 3-0) next Friday at Cal State Fullerton in what could be an epic ‘Battle for the Bell.’
