Boys’ basketball: Bigger than Kardashian family

Calabasas is hosting North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake on Tuesday night in a Southern Section Division 3A quarterfinal playoff game, and it’s bigger than Sunday’s season series finale of the Calabasas-based Kardashian family.
The Coyotes have to figure out a way to contain Harvard-Westlake’s 6-foot-5 Erik Swoope, who seemingly scores 30 points in every game.
Harvard-Westlake has to make sure it doesn’t foul Calabasas’ Jordan Coleman, who also can score lots of points when opponents send him to the free-throw line in bunches.
I still say Tuesday’s game is a mere formality before the real action begins in the semifinals, when the division’s four elite teams finally get to meet, with Gardena Serra taking on Cerritos Gahr and Harvard-Westlake facing Compton Centennial.
But Calabasas is hoping to crash the party, and that would be big news in Kardashian territory.
