Football: Edison passing tournament is loaded with talent

The Huntington Beach Edison passing tournament on July 10 is filled with top teams. It starts out with Westlake Village Oaks Christian taking on Temecula Chaparral at 9 a.m. And Oaks Christian plays Los Alamitos at 11 a.m.

Santa Ana Mater Dei takes on La Habra in another good matchup at 9 a.m.

Here’s the pools. A: Valencia, Bellflower St. John Bosco, Corona Centennial, Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro.

B: Oaks Christian, Los Alamitos, Chaparral, Foothill.

C: Mater Dei, La Habra, West Covina South Hills, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

D: Edison, Westlake Village Westlake, Carlsbad, San Juan Capistrano JSerra.
