Football: Linemen keep getting bigger

I don’t know if it’s good or bad that linemen keep getting bigger and bigger in high school football. Woodland Hills El Camino Real is going to have one of the biggest offensive lines in the City Section, with three players who weigh 300 pounds or more in the starting lineup.
Since the City Section has replaced freshman-sophomore football teams with junior varsity, there could be some interesting matchups pound for pound.
At the varsity level, if a team intends to focus on running the ball, having a big line certainly helps, and El Camino Real uses the Double Wing, which means if the Conquistadores attempt five passes in a game, that’s a lot.
