Girls’ basketball: Edison’s Bonnie Samuelson signs

Huntington Beach Edison wing player Bonnie Samuelson has signed with Stanford, Coach Dan Wiley confirmed.

The 6-foot-2 sharp-shooter averaged 27 points and nine rebounds for the Chargers last season, and is ranked No. 61 in the 2011 class.

Oh, and she has a 4.8 grade point average.

That probably won’t last long, though.

‘I think she’s going to have a 5.0 after these grades come out,’ Wiley said.
