Football: Kodi Whitfield remains impressive prospect

It’s another terrific year for receivers, and Kodi Whitfield of Los Angeles Loyola remains a player that college recruiters are watching closely as they tour spring-practice sites in Southern California.

He has eight scholarship offers, including UCLA, Washington and Boston College. He has a 4.1 grade-point average. He’ll get a chance to compare himself against some top performances in the Dana Hills passing tournament on June 11.
