Football: Edison takes 7-0 lead

While Coach Dave White is at home serving a one-game suspension, he’ll be happy to know that his Edison team has started well.

Zach Salazar intercepted a pass on the 19-yard line on Garfield’s opening possession and returned it for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Update: Edison has upped its lead 14-0 after a Chase Favreau 34-yard touchdown run. The lead is now 21-0 after a Marquis Ross seven-yard TD run with 4:38 left in the first quarter.
