Football: Servite cuts into Bishop Gorman’s lead, 14-10

Servite’s Connor Beavans kicked a field goal late in the first quarter to cut Bishop Gorman’s lead to 14-10.

Beavins’ kick came as a result of a fumble recovery by Butch Pauu off Bishop Gorman standout running back Shaquille Powell.

The Friars are playing well on both sides after giving up touchdown on the opening kickoff and a TD on the Gaels’ first possession.
