Servite’s Connor Beavans kicked a 24-yard field goal -- his second successful attempt of the game -- to cut Bishop Gorman’s lead to 14-13 early in the second quarter.

Cody Pittman connected on a beautiful, 25-yard pass to Ainslie Johnson to set up the field goal. Sam Hunt nearly gave the Friars the lead, but he failed to haul in a catchable pass in the end zone on third down.
