After going nowhere in its first two possessions, Oaks Christian quarterback Brandon Dawkins found Robert Morgan on a 14-yard touchdown pass to give the Lions a 7-3 lead with 31 seconds left in the first quarter of their Northern Division semifinal with St. Bonaventure.

The touchdown, which capped off a 10-play, 85-yard drive, was set up by a 38-yard carry by Dawkins on a quarterback draw.

St. Bonaventure, which is eager to avenge its loss earlier this season to the Lions, got onto the scoreboard first with a 27-yard field goal by Brandon Rominger.

Backup quarterback Nick Arbuckle has looked good early on filling in for the injured Marc Evans. Arbuckle came into the game with only five pass attempts on the season.
