Football: Santa Margarita leads at halftime

Santa Margarita is leading San Clemente, 14-13, in the Southern Section Pac-5 Division final at Angel Stadium.

San Clemente quarterback Travis Wilson has completed all six of his passes for 95 yards and Christian Tober has three receptions for 80 yards for the Tritons, who controlled the ball for 14:15 compared to 9:45 for Santa Margarita.

Santa Margarita quarterback Johnny Stanton has completed five of nine passes for 55 yards and one touchdown and Ryan Wolpin has 65 yards in six carries, including a 33-yard touchdown.

Santa Margarita will receive the second-half kickoff.
