Boys’ basketball: L.A. Windward tournament begins

Los Angeles Windward is hosting a tournament that begins on Monday and concludes on Thursday with a championship game at 4:30 p.m. But the best game figures to be Windward taking on St. John Bosco at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Opening games: JSerra vs. Compton Centennial, noon; Beverly Hills vs. Shawnigan Lake, 1:30 p.m.; St. John Bosco vs. Narbonne, 3 p.m.; Windward vs. Locke, 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s schedule: Shawnigan Lake vs. Compton Centennial, noon; Beverly Hills vs. JSerra, 1:30 p.m.; Locke vs. St. John Bosco, 3 p.m.; Narbonne vs. Windward, 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday’s schedule: Locke vs. Narbonne, noon; JSerra vs. Shawnigan Lake, 1:30 p.m.; Compton Centennial vs. Beverly Hills, 3 p.m.; Windward vs. St. John Bosco, 4:30 p.m.
