Football: Two assistant coaches convicted on marijuana counts

There’s a report from OCVarsity.com that two assistant coaches for Santa Margarita, the CIF state championship Division I bowl team, were convicted of misdemeanor marijuana possession charges during the season.

Sean Coen, the receivers coach, and Robert Hendricks, the defensive backs coach, pleaded guilty to two counts each, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.

Coach Harry Welch and Principal Ray Dunne confirmed they were aware of the arrests and convictions, OCVarsity.com reported.
