Boys’ basketball: Muir athletic director is relieved of duties

The fallout from Pasadena Muir forfeiting 20 basketball games because of an ineligible player continues. Athletic Director Robert Galvan has been temporarily relieved of his duties pending outcome of a district investigation, the Pasadena Star News reported.

Coach Gamal Smalley continues on administrative leave.
