Baseball: Buena improves to 4-0 with win over Birmingham

Ventura Buena (4-0) stayed unbeaten and advanced to the champioship game of its division in the Southern California Invitational with a 10-4 victory over Birmingham.

Senior shortstop Corey Dodge had three hits and three RBIs, including a triple and double. He also stole home. Wesley Dodge added three hits. Brad Montgomery contributed a two-run triple.

Buena will face Culver City in Saturday’s championship game at 6:30 p.m. at Birmingham.
