West Hills Chaminade has lots of offensive weapons, such as running back Terrell Newby and receiver Elijah Dunston.
The Eagles also have a new option that Coach Ed Croson is excited about. It’s turning loose sophomore kicker Ben Kreitenberg.
‘I think he’s an impact player,’ Croson said.
Kreitenberg was a second-team all-league player as a freshman. His leg strength has improved, and he’ll be getting a shot to make field goals from 45 yards and in. He has been putting balls into the end zone on kickoffs, and his punting continues to progress.
Private kicking coach Chris Sailer believes Kreitenberg will be one of the best kickers in the nation by his senior year.
