Football: Dorsey to work on cutting down penalties

‘Holding, holding, holding.’

That was the complaint by Dorsey Coach Paul Knox about his team’s performance on Friday when the Dons defeated Fairfax, 24-14.

Holding penalties and blocks in the back wiped out long punt returns, long runs and long passes.

Quarterback Reginald Bell played well, and new receiver Josh Hill, a transfer from St. Bernard, made his Dorsey debut.

Dorsey faces Garfield on Friday.

‘We have to get mistakes cleaned up,’ Knox said.
