Football: L.A. Marshall to salute Hall of Famer Mike Haynes

It’s not every day a school gets to recognize a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
L.A. Marshall will get the chance on Wednesday, when Mike Haynes returns to his alma mater as part of the Hometown Hall of Famers program run by Allstate and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Haynes was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection as a cornerback for the Raiders and New England Patriots.
City Councilman Tom LaBonge, a former classmate of Haynes, will present a plaque during a special ceremony on campus.
