Football: Notre Dame holds on for 28-27 victory

Notre Dame came away with a 28-27 victory over Oaks Christian in the Pac-5 Division first-round playoff game.
Oaks Christian came up with a 32-yard touchdown reception by Chris Davis and fourth-and-five with 1:19 left to put the Lions in position to tie the game.
But Wyatt Nelson’s extra-point kick went wide right.
Brandon Dawkins of Oaks Christian completed 25 of 36 passes for 302 yards with one interception.
Notre Dame’s Kelly Hilinski completed 10 of 15 passes for 196 yards and one touchdown, a 65-yarder to Daniel Khan. He also ran for 48 yards. Khalfani Muhammad ran for 89 yards.
