It’s not too early to start predicting who’s going to be a top player in 2013 even though 2012 still has weeks to go in the football season. And one player to get excited about is Donovan Lee of West Hills Chaminade.
The junior fills in for senior Terrell Newby at tailback, and come next season, he’ll be getting the ball again and again. He had kickoff returns of 80 and 76 yards for touchdowns last week against Oxnard Pacifica and made two interceptions.
Lee and quarterback Brad Kaaya will be an impressive duo to build around, along with several returning offensive linemen.
