London Perrantes, the standout senior point guard from Encino Crespi, is one of those teenagers who loves to travel.
He’s headed to Virginia for college, and this past week, he was so good at the Proviso West tournament in Chicago that he earned MVP honors, putting his name up on the board with past MVPs Isaiah Thomas, Kevin Garnett and Evan Turner.
He had games of 16, 31 34 and 24 points in helping Crespi (10-5) win the consolation title. The Celts open Mission League play on Friday against Harvard-Westlake.
